Start With a Test Lesson

If you’re curious about windsurfing but not ready to commit to a full course, our Test Lesson is the perfect place to start.
You’ll first learn the basics on land, then try them on the water with an instructor by your side.
If you decide to continue, you simply pay the difference and continue with the full course.
Who’s it for?
-
first-time visitors who want to try before committing
-
families who want a safe and gentle introduction
-
anyone curious about windsurfing and wanting to see how it feels
Beginners course

Our Beginner Courses are designed for guests with no prior experience.
You’ll build skills step by step — starting on our land simulator, then repeating everything on the water with full support and guidance.
By the end of the course, you’ll be able to move independently in calm conditions and feel comfortable controlling the board and sail.
Course options
– 4 hours course– fundamentals in a shortened program
– 6-hour course: a solid foundation for beginners
– 8-hour course: same content, but with more relaxed pacing and extra practice time
Both include patient instruction, beginner-friendly boards and equipment suited to your level.
Advanced & Fun Sessions

If you already know the basics and want more challenge, our Advanced Course helps you step up your skills with elements such as advanced turns (tack & jibe), beach start and harness work.
For confident windsurfers who love stronger wind, we also offer Fun Sessions – booked hour by hour — focused on improving control, performance and enjoyment in more demanding conditions.
Individual Lessons & Tailored Training

If you prefer one-on-one attention or want a lesson completely adapted to you, private lessons are available for both beginners and advanced surfers.
They’re ideal for children, adults who learn best individually, or anyone who wants personal guidance to progress faster and feel even more secure.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is windsurfing hard to learn?
On your own, it can feel confusing at first.
With an instructor guiding you step by step, most people are surprised how quickly it becomes fun and intuitive. That’s exactly why lessons make such a difference.
How long does it take to windsurf on your own?
Our beginner course lasts 6 hours, spread over one or more days.
By the end of it, most people are able to sail independently in calm conditions and feel confident handling the board and sail.
What if I have very bad balance?
That’s completely normal – and very common.
We use large, stable beginner boards that make balancing much easier, and instructors stay close the entire time, giving guidance or even holding the sail if needed.
Do I need to be a good swimmer?
It helps, but it’s not a requirement.
All children under 18 wear life jackets, and adults can wear one too if they feel more comfortable. Safety always comes first.
What are the best conditions for beginners?
Light wind (around 8 – 10 knots) and calm water are ideal.
We never teach beginners in strong or offshore wind – conditions are always chosen with safety in mind.
Is windsurfing dangerous?
Windsurfing itself isn’t dangerous when taught properly and in the right conditions.
You’ll learn how to fall safely, what to do if you lose balance, and how to stay aware of your surroundings – all with an instructor close by.
Will I be alone on the water?
No.
Instructors are always nearby, and our safety boat is ready if needed. If someone drifts away or can’t return to the beach, we simply bring them back – that’s standard procedure.
Do I need to buy equipment?
No.
All courses include boards, sails and necessary equipment. If you decide to continue windsurfing later, we’re happy to advise you – but there’s no pressure to buy anything.
Should I take lessons or try to learn on my own?
Lessons make learning faster, safer and far more enjoyable – especially at the beginning.
If you already have some experience and just want to refresh your skills, a private lesson is a great option before renting equipment on your own.
Do I have to do all 6 hours in one day?
Not at all – and we usually don’t recommend it.
Most people prefer 1-2 hours per day, which gives your body and mind time to process everything you learn. Windsurfing has a lot of new movements at first, and breaks really help.
